Isaac, a Trinidadian bassist hiding out in Lima after breaking a promise to his band, can’t shake a bassline only he seems to hear — in machinery, in his pulse, in the city itself. He falls in with two other migrant musicians, and the rhythm becomes less a haunting than a shared language.
