Jaden Smith officially launches his first full men’s collection as Creative Director for Christian Louboutin. The Fall/Winter 2026 collection, launched June 3, has arrived in stores and online globally, a milestone for the French luxury house.
Smith took up the new role in September 2025, becoming the first person other than Christian Louboutin himself to hold a creative helm at the Maison since its founding in 1991. The two first met in Paris in 2019, with Louboutin calling Smith “a natural fit for the Maison”. Smith moved to Paris to take on the role full-time, managing four collections a year across shoes, leather goods and accessories.
The Working Man collection, inspired by historical working professions such as stonemasons, scribes, and doctors, was first previewed with an immersive exhibition at Paris Fashion Week in January 2026. Highlights include the Molten Trapman boot, which looks as if it’s been dipped in shiny molten paint; the hip-hop-inspired Trapman TCT 2 in lace-up, loafer and Chelsea boot styles; and a series of sleek skate shoes, wrestling boots and reinvented penny loafers. The collection, in addition to footwear, includes the Tactical bag line, the Multi-Pocket range of backpacks and vest bags and a new Canopy accessories collection that features eyewear, belts and small leather goods.
The accompanying campaign was shot in a seventeenth-century French château, and stars a multigenerational cast that Smith says embodies “the Christian Louboutin man, through the eyes of different generations living together in the same universe”. The collection has received praise for its creative ambition, but also scrutiny from those who question celebrity-led luxury appointments — a debate that is emblematic of larger shifts in the fashion industry.
To celebrate the launch, Smith will host exclusive events in June in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Paris and London.
